Creative Collective is a residency project for artists, designers, and architects to live and work together. The project builds on research from the Investigate Micro Homes project and design precedents like the Nakagin Capsule Tower, focusing on the concept of growth. It showcases how small spaces can offer high-quality living through multi-functionality, materiality, and modularity.

The complex structure consists of 20 modules, each formed by two cuboid and one cube, creating spaces for living and working. This arrangement explores volumes and scales, generating new semi-open spaces for collaboration and exhibitions. The modular blocks create unique identities and views, blurring the boundaries between inside and outside. A common courtyard at the centre of the modules provides a communal gathering space.

Materials are chosen to reflect sustainability, using recycled pure flex panels with translucent qualities for exterior walls. Further research involves co-designing furniture modules with artists and designers, exploring different configurations and joineries.
